Pets, Ltd is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare ​organization. We are a small, volunteer-supported spay ​and neuter clinic operating every Sunday from our fully ​equipped medical RV, located at 13320 Occoquan Road ​in Woodbridge, VA. Our mission is to help control the ​overpopulation of feral and community cats living ​outdoors—whether in neighborhoods, streets, or yards—​by offering low-cost spay and neuter services.

When possible, we provide trapping advice, equipment, and ​assistance to both rescue groups and homeowners who care for ​outdoor cats in need of these vital services. Our board-certified ​veterinarians work with us on Sundays to perform the surgeries. ​Cats are typically dropped off in the morning and picked up later ​the same day. To keep our services affordable, we do not offer ​preoperative bloodwork or overnight stays.

Most of our services are for cats in feral colonies. However, due ​to the unpredictable nature of trapping, we sometimes find we ​have unfilled surgery slots. To ensure we make the most of our ​veterinarians’ time, we maintain a list of "standby" cats—these ​are often kittens from rescue groups or owned cats whose ​families are unable to afford standard veterinary prices. Standby ​cats are confirmed on Saturday nights once we have a clear ​count of how many trapped cats will be treated on Sunday.

Contributions

We are able to keep our prices affordable because most ​of our staff volunteer their time, and because we receive ​donations from supporters who believe in our cause. ​Overpopulation of stray cats is a serious problem, ​especially for the cats themselves who were often ​abandoned through no fault of their own. Spaying one ​outdoor cat prevents a likely 3 litters of kittens each year. ​It’s a very cost-effective donation!

Feral Cat Support

Most of the colony caretakers we ​work with spend a huge portion of ​their income on cat food.

If you have canned or dry cat food you ​can donate, please drop it off at ​13320 Occoquan Road on the patio at ​the back door.

We will deliver it to some grateful ​caregivers with very hungry cats!
